This week heralds the BWA in East London hosting a Poetry Recital and Gin tasting evening, at Exotic Marigold, a boho-chic boutique store in East London.
My three favourites, Gin, BWA & Exotic Marigold.
The BWA has always been an avid supporter of my corporate and now my creative poetry journey as pralenemahabirpoetry. They are an absolute delight to connect, network, and share beautiful ideas with, that impact our society and our planet, and I could not be prouder to be in the company of these powerful women. Gary Zukav, in the book ‘Seat of the Soul’ calls authentic power as:
‘When the personality comes fully to serve the energy of its soul, that is authentic empowerment’
BWA women truly embody this, my reflective poem, BWA, is dedicated to all of them.
Gin, should I say more, ok, yes I will. It’s one of my all-time favourite drinks! My good friends who know me well, know that when we do get together, which is rare these days, yes, my other friend, Gin, with its distinct juniper fragrance is always in hand, literally. This week’ Gin tasting is a sheer delight to look forward to and here’s Gin, for your reading pleasure!
The Exotic Marigold Boutique is one of my all-time favourite stores, in the world, yes, the world! It imbues a kind of open yet calm energy, as I walk in, I’m always greeted by smiles! I have a chance, even for a few minutes, to completely calm down, have a chat, be treated to coffee, and feast my eyes and sometimes my wallet, to stunning, beautifully hand-crafted modern boho fashion. I’m always surrounded by so much choice, and so much colour, yes, indeed, it’s a must-visit, if you live in the delightful coastal city of East London, and if you visit, this is one ‘retail therapy’ moment for your tourist diary!
