I‘m told that in the old days,
You were medicinal,
All clear liquid,
Pure,
Made of juniper,
Bottled,
In beautiful canisters,
Perhaps,
It did bring relief,
To some,
But for me,
You’re an absolute delight,
At the end of a hard work week,
An alluring pleasure,
Whether in clear indulgence,
Or in pink hue,
As modern craft Gin makers,
Gift to the world,
You’re welcomed in warm embrace,
In my hands,
So, whether,
You’re accompanied by,
Crushed raspberries,
Crackled black pepper,
A hint of rosemary,
And laced with a hint of,
Olive oil,
Or jut simply, accompanied,
By ,
Good ol‘ tonic,
And a silver of watermelon rind,
You’re here,
And here to stay,
Cheers 🥂
