This week, I’m absolutely delighted to share another story of strength, resilience, and wonder, of a precious soul, Deshun Deysel.

To many out there, who are familiar with Deshun, you would know that she is today, a world-renowned mountaineer, motivational speaker, author, and entrepreneur.

I met Deshun, a couple of years ago, in the corporate space, and soon, we were creating some magic in this world together. She always alludes that the best is still to come, I do believe her.

I suppose, what I’m enamored most about Deshun, besides her mountaineering adventures, the world over, is her ability to know herself, have no doubt within herself, and just persevere, above all else. In my corporate space, I call this, Self Leadership, the ability to self-reflect and evolve into your best.

I’m taking notes, Deshun 😊

These days, Deshun runs her own entrepreneurial enterprise, Go Peak International, she is a motivational speaker, author, and Laureus ambassador. Her latest contribution to “The Book every Leader needs to Read” is special, a must-read!

Deshun dreams of writing her own biography but in the meantime, she let me in on her next adventure, once our world transitions, no surprise, it’s back to Everest!

Perhaps, one of my biggest lessons learned from Deshun, is her ability to transform, evolve, from her humble beginnings, despite early health struggles, into the true Powerhouse, she is today, collaborating, commanding stages, and mountains, the world over. She is a true believer in the true authentic power of women in the workplace and beyond. She is clear about how women must show up, bring their whole selves, wherever they go, and live their true purpose of Life.

Deshun has supported me, mentored me, and in my most recent adventure, my creative venture into poetry, Deshun is one of my most ardent supporters. She‘s just a call away, there’s always an ear for my next crazy, zany idea.

It is with pure gratitude, that I share, Deshun, with you, my poetic reflection for this week. Thank you, Deshun🙏🏼 for being part of my ‘tribe’. I’m humbled!

To all of you out there, stay strong, stay safe, and see you soon.

❤️
