I’m really green at heart,
I always have been,
As I look back on my life,
I’ve walked down many paths,
Some laden with gold,
Others paved with cobblestones,
Some even strewn with rocks,
I’ve struggled for my own breath at times,
At times I still do,
But with each step I walk,
Every bold step I take,
I’m moving forward,
I breathe a little easier,
But through it all,
I’ve persevered,
I’ve succeeded,
I’ve lived a full life,
I’ve been blessed with many Angels along the way,
Who support me,
Guide me,
Motivate me,
and Inspire me,
For them,
I’m extremely Grateful 🙏
As I look forward to my retirement,
I have many dreams,
I’ve always had ‘green fingers’
So I’m dreaming my ultimate garden to life,
My favourite shrubs,
My fragrant herbs,
All there,
All waiting just for me,
There’s just so much more of Life I want to live yet,
To rejoice,
To rest,
I love being free,
As always, I’m committing to my growth,
Next level,
I know my Dreams are meant to be fulfilled,
And as I look at me,
I know I’m on my way 💚
