When I formally began this poetic journey, almost fourteen months ago, I could have never imagined the journey, the joys, the infinite coincidences, the range of emotions, the tears, the laughter and sheer exhilaration.

Neither could I have imagined than one of my poems now transitioning into song. This is the highlight for #pralenepoetry thus far, from a pure, artistic perspective. I’m amazed by the process, and yes the result too.

So let me indulge you all in a little story about “Lost” the title of the poem, now published into song. I include the original poem this week, for your reading pleasure.

I wrote this poem, way back in 2020. It was different from my usual poems, it had a “chorus” so to speak, that just repeated itself.

Lost” was essentially an ode to many out there, who felt this emotion in all senses of their being. The pandemic we all experienced really brought us out of our “comfort zones”, so to speak.

This story reflects this “lost” space.

The rest is up to you, to interpret, enjoy 😉 – Link for 🎶 song here
